All Forms Initiative
In the interest of sustaining America’s economic prosperity, the Energy Advocates support all forms of energy. At one time in our history, our oil and gas resources were sufficient to meet our demand. However, this circumstance has changed in the last few decades. Today, America imports nearly 60 percent of our oil and approximately 16 percent of our natural gas in order to meet our growing demand.
The Energy Information Administration is forecasting increases in the demand for energy across all sectors through 2030.
Given these forecasts, the Energy Advocates believes that all forms of energy will be important for meeting future demand.
In 2010 , our organization will continue to promote dialogue among the various energy sectors and help to foster a realistic and responsible plan for the continued development of American resources.
